That I didn’t know. What I do know from having had Wiggins on the Wolves for years is that moody and plays when he feels like it. There were plenty of games that where he honestly didn’t seem to care about winning, so he stood around and did the minimum. Hence the nickname Standrew Wiggins. If you are telling me that isn’t connected to mental illness, than in some ways that great for him, but in some ways it is worse for his trade value.
No one is basing Wiggins trade value on how he was in Minnesota which, all due respect, was a tire fire organization then.
Yeah, the first five and a half years of someone’s NBA career is never relevant to the conversation about them

. Only what they do as a fourth option surrounded by Curry, Klay, Dray, and the Warriors dynastic system. The fact that Wiggins had one big year (again as the fourth option,) means everyone should ignore the wild inconsistency of play and effort. Also totally ignore that Maple Jordan (draft nickname,) is now known the league over as Standrew Wiggins.
When said player leaves the struggling organization he spent his first five years and goes to a better one and thrives, then yeah, I think that gets taken into account
And as already mentioned, his one stint of inconsistency and effort in GS coincided with his Dad fighting for his life. Wiggins is who he is - a strong 3 and D wing on a decent contract. No one is punishing him for not being more on a bad T-Wolves team.
Also pretty sure the only one calling him Standrew Wiggins is you. Let me know when you’ve been anointed as “league wide”
