But I was extremely impressed with his second half. Granted, Illinois was up big for most of it, so you could chalk up some of his numbers to garbage time, but Oregon never stopped playing hard and he just made them look silly. There were even plays where he looked explosive off the dribble, which has been my biggest concern about him.
After cooling on him somewhat after the Mizzou game, I’m hyped about how he looked in this one.
Dude is special in terms of bball IQ. Whoever drafts him - he will have some off days, but IMO, the dude is going to be special. his athleticism is not great, but he can dribble, pass, see things in advance, fights on defense, shoot well, creative, etc....
And he’s a gamer. Oozes “it” leadership factor both verbally and through actions.
