Exactly. Also Forget Butler and Beal, neither happening

The Heat is not taking back bad contracts. Most players you thrown out are one dimensuonal players. If they want to stay competitive this season, they are not taking Dlo unless they have an eye to trade him to a third team for upgrade and they may barely receiving some sort of DFS level player (non needle mover) in return at best. If you were Riley, will you do this trade?
You’re missing the point. The dlo contract rolls off whereas now we have to use Vincent or vandos contract in its place. If we are presenting an offer, the worth isn’t in any of these players. The worth is in the draft picks but also freeing up salary. I’m tired of explaining this point over and over in this thread. It seems multiple posters on here can’t seem to grasp the idea of relative value of trade offers and how an expiring is better than a non expiring deadbeat (Vincent, vando)
Our point is, even Dlo is an expiring contract, Heat would not have wanted Dlo at the first place.
Showtime:Part2 wrote:Well! Glad you guys got your shots in calling me an idiot for saying the trade was beyond dumb. Sure looks like dfs gonna carry us to the promise land, instead of a bona fide star like jimmy/zion/ingram. Really smart to give up our biggest expiring for dfs lmao. Where’s Wurtzwerner to tell me dfs is a more valuable player than Zion Williamson

Beal for Hachimura, Vanderbilt, Vincent, Christie
Lakers starting 5 - Reaves, Beal, James, Finney-Smith, Davis

Rui: 6pt, 1stl, 2ast, 1 reb ... I mean WTF?
DFS: 11pt, 3 reb, 3/4 3pt?
I didn't see the game, so how was DFS's defense. Lakers didn't get him for scoring and yet 11pt over Rui's 6.

Yeah I'm definitely making Rui available though I believe he'll sort out tonights debacle... if you look at this game logs here, it's suprprisingly meh compared to what the games look like but it is telling.

That’s a dumb point though. It’s all relative. He’s better than taking on Vincent or vando because you can literally buy him out or just let him expire.
Not only do teams think of the salary stuff, they still want the trophy. If you are talking about those tank teams, sure. Not the Heat unless they look to start the rebuild right away after bulter's time there.

is it time to consider, RUI, Vando, gabe, wood, and AR for butler, Jrich and love... if we have to do pics, We do ONE pick swap (top 10 protected) for one of their (top 20 protected) MAX.
