Seems quite unfair to use the net on/off when Tatum played mostly with Kornet and didn't play any/all of Queta's minutes. Meanwhile Queta was 4-5 in his only minutes, yet he gets bad press here.
As you stated in another Post Queta's ceiling is higher that Kornet, but Kornet may be more "steady" .. Both True But now would be the time to play Queta over Kornet. Not only would Queta gain the much-needed experience he is lacking, but by playoffs, he can add what Boston can really use. A Bigger Impact than what Kornet can Provide.
Final piece is for anyone who Feels Kornet > Queta, no Problem. It is close and there isn't a Big Edge either way. But I will remain Queta > Kornet. Just hate it when Queta does bad and even sometimes plays well and still gets buried for games at a time.
Defense fell apart when Queta came in. Nuggets went on a 13-2 run as soon as he replaced Kornet in less than 4 mins. It stood out, so not gonna apologize for calling him out. Not all on him since he spent those minutes with PP, a defensive liability. Guy couldn't rebound or box out. He had 0 rebounds again in his 1st half stint as he did in HOU, IINM. For someone with his size and length, that was just unacceptable esp against a geriatric like DAJ. Props to him for finishing around the rim as he should.
It really is hard to get outscored by the Denver bench, esp that 2nd Q start. Even more so with Jokic & Gordon out (which just means an even shallower bench). That Celtics lineup for about 6 mins in the 2nd Q managed to do it somehow with Queta as their defensive anchor.
Boston's defense has fallen apart many times this year. And most of those times, Queta isn't even the game. Point is many should get the blame for that.
That particular post you quoted was about this game. About that 4 minute stretch. The part where the Celtics lost a bulk of their lead. He was a big reason why.
Like I said earlier, fans should be able to call players out when they stink or mess up. Praise them when they do well. Except some of you are so protective and defensive of your binkies. Which is... to each their own I guess.
