The plot thickens!
I think winning last season's mid season CUP has made the LA Lakers a trade destination.
Just looking at the trade machines and it feels like none of those trade destinations are realistic.
Miami are apparently very much against taking back Beal thanks to his contract and no-trade clause. Denver can't make the money work.
Clippers and Lakers could work but it's gotta be a 4/5 for 1 trade where Miami isn't really getting much value back and the LA teams are gutting depth.
PHX: Butler
LAL: Beal, Love
MIA: Reaves, Rui, Vincent, Vanderbilt, Wood and a 1st
Would the Lakers trade the significantly cheaper Reaves, plus Rui, a pick and some depth for Beal? I guess a hail mary with them floundering isn't a crazy idea.
PHX: Butler
LAC: Beal
MIA: Norm Powell, PJ Tucker, Derrick Jones Jr, Bones Hyland, Batum and a 1st
Would LAC make that move? Ballmer has the money, but they haven't even seen their team with Kawhi this year.
