Brutal to be up 20+ with 3-4 mins left and didn't put even 1 of them...
I don't know why players keep defending him... when it only BENEFITS the team when starters play a little less so the bench can play a little more... it gives the starters fresher legs to actually properly close out games down the stretch and helps build the bench esp the rooks' game and confidence so when the starters are down 1-2 players to injuries, the rooks are ready
I don't know why Josh and KAT keep defending something that's obviously HURTING themselves, the rooks, and the team.
Even JB has started backing off from publicly supporting this... because he knows Thibs' madness doesn't benefit the team AT ALL. The cap has actually started acting in the best interest of the team, politics be damned...
There's a reason most coaches in the L play 9-10 players every game... it's a 82+ game season it's a frickin marathon, NOT a sprint. You wanna keep your team's key players fresh for the FINAL LAP. When it comes to minutes, there's a reason we have most coaches in 1 group, and then we have Thibs, all alone.

But if Josh and KAT or other players wanna keep defending it and Thibs, be careful what you wish for.
From now on, I wish Thibs keeps playing the starters 40-45mpg for the rest of the season... let's really give this one to the players who defend it, to Thibs, and to fans/ posters here who say minutes are not correlated to fatigue or injuries whatsoever... let's really see it happen. My guess is the wheels will fall off, injuries will start to mount and losses start to pile up because the key players just don't have it in the 4th qs... but they think we're just minutes police who don't know anything/ are dead wrong... at this point just give what they want and see for real in the final lap if even Thibs himself wants what he thinks he wants. He thinks he wants it, I seriously doubt it.
Dude is said to be one of the most brilliant bball minds in the L history... but can't grasp the most basic concept of fatigue in sports is just mind-blowingly atrocious
