This is just a flat out lie. Go pull up a single post from any of our wins where ardent tWo members are "happy" we won because one of our young guys played well.
The extremist wing of tWo losses their minds anytime we win a single game, regardless of how we won that game. It's completely irrational to keep getting upset after any win. I'm on team tWo but the extreme tWo members can't seem to fathom that maybe it's not possible to lose 50 games in a row.
Get another tWo member call this a lie. You need to take anger management classes
Hey, it's not my fault the extremist contingent of tWo are braindead.
The irony is that the tankers possess the least understanding of the lottery odds.
A main tank advocate advocate recently stated "the odds were astronomical that Detroit would fall to fifth 3 times in a row in the lottery".
Actually....the odds were not "astronomical".
In fact....the odds of the LAST PLACE team falling to 5th in the draft 3 YEARS IN A ROW are approximately 11%.
The odds of the last place team getting first overall in any draft are 14%.
So essentially....if a team comes in last place 3 years in a row....they have the same odds of getting three picks at the 5 slot as they do getting 1st overall in any of those 3 drafts.
It really doesn't matter that much if we come dead last or 2nd last or 3rd last or 4th last. And it certainly doesn't matter as much to see currently9 developing players fall on their faces for the sake of an extra place down in the standings. The changes in lottery odds simply do not justify the long term consequences of stunted development.
I mean...it does make sense when you give up on player potential once they start shaving regularly. But contrary to that perspective....players DO continue to develop in their 20s.
