Billy is a great coach. Lol
Billy is a decent coach
A coach that needs to be fired.

I'm not sure why they went away from that. Maybe teams figured them out a bit?
The reality is that it's not a good team and the front office needs to move in a new direction.
Boy as a blazer fan does this statement resonate with me. Best of luck this season, hopefully both teams figure out where they are supposed to go at some point
Thank you.
I'm not sure what the Blazers front office is like, but the Bulls FO has been stubborn and generally refuses to rebuild.

Zach and Vuc are the only two players you can count to not completely awful games. The rest are a crapshoot. I think AK should be fired. He failed. Period.

The Blazers fo supposedly committed to a rebuild when they traded Dame away but has since been holding onto more veteran players who do nothing for a rebuild. All the while we are holding onto Chauncey billups who is a terrible developmental coach. I think Chauncey will be gone after the season is over at the latest but we will see on ant/grant/ayton

The version of the Bulls to start the season did have a chance to win enough games to make the playoffs. Fast pace, share the ball, tons of 3s. They've gone away from all of that completely to whatever this is, and without the defense, they're just not gonna be able to score enough to beat anybody. Right now, every team knows that if they just attack the basket, they'll probably go to the line (a lot) and win the game.

It wasn't a sustainable strategy. The defense is the worst in the business, and Giddey doesn't shoot well enough to be a part of that chuck offense. With the streaky way Pat, Vuc and Coby shoot, and with no shooting specialists on the bench, we're suited to be a tank job with high-pace 3P offense, not the championship Warriors.
I still think that "thanks to it", we'll win the odd game here and there that we wouldn't have won last year. With this losing streak, we're coming back to earth (expected standings), but for a while there, we were atleast 4 games above Vegas odds.

I hope Zach gets moved.

I never understood why they re-signed Jerami Grant for as many years as they did.

Billy is guy. He should not be reassured of any type of future.
There are coaches that actually won championships and had less rope given.

Crazy before this losing streak we were talking about how they have over achieved and how maybe they had a chance to move up the standings.
AK has to make changes to this roster. A lot of these young guys that we thought were the future of the bulls just aren’t cutting it. Disappointing seasons so far from both Coby and Pat who we expected a lot from. Ayo is just average. Giddey is inconsistent and not much of a difference maker.
I’m not saying change the whole roster but somethings got to change. Even a coach could sometimes make a difference. Maybe Billy isn’t the guy for the job, why not try someone else ?
AK has a lot of work to do and decisions to make. Trade deadline is in a couple of weeks.

The blazers fo made a commitment with jerami's agency (Klutch) to resign grant to a big deal come hell or higher water whether Dame stayed or went. Backing out on a handshake deal with a prominent agency would be suicide for the Blazers fo but I'm not sure why such a promise was ever made in the first place. Most of us on the Blazers board didn't like the signing from Day 1

I never understand why FOs do these agents favors. Like , unless your maybe the Lakers, when do agents ever return the favor??
