Given there are multiple playoff \play in teams inquiring about Rob, I don't see POR trading him w\o getting a 1st back, UNLESS they take a young player they like back instead.
Yeah, he has an injury history, but he is healthy now, and he is a true difference maker come playoffs. Still young (27) and on a very reasonable contract.
Lastly, people acting like a pick in the 20's (most likely) is somehow THAT valuable. First off, the 25' draft is top heavy and a total crap shoot after that, Second, several teams probably would value a high 2nd rounder OVER a late 1st anyway. So, I just disagree that a 25' 1st, that will likely end up in the mid 20's is that much of value that you could not include it in a trade for a guy who WOULD be a difference maker come playoff time. Besides what else does DAL have to offer BUT their 25' 1st, (1) 25' 2nd? That ain't going to get it done.
Now maybe I am wrong, and he gets dealt for 2nd rounders, or POR just holds onto him, but given the interest, the player and POR GM, I doubt he gets dealt for anything less than a 1st. A protected 1st to be sure, probably a 1st that projects to be a late 1st, but a 1st nonetheless.
