They just need to be capable of being a high usage player in short spurts when Dame/Giannis are on the bench. A guy who can run an effective two-man game with either of them.

Khris is obviously capable of that with Giannis. He and Dame haven't quite gotten there, but I actually am fairly certain that they'd play quite well off of one another with more seasoning.

Can LaVine do that?

This is completely fair. As I said, I'd just keep Khris, but Lavine, if he accepted his role, could be a really good fit on offense (he's a 2/3, not a guard exclusively to me).

Play him with Dame as little as possible.

Risky for sure, but a far better choice than Butler to me.

So assuming Levine is the target.

Kris/Pat/Bobby/31 first for Levinw Craig. Is there a team that would basically take Bobby?

They sat Khris out. Rushed warm up for the game. You think that happens in the playoffs? A healthy Khris is sat in a meaningless game in January so you want to give up a playoff assassin for a guy who shot 43% in his lone career playoff series?

Khris plays in the playoffs, and dominates. You want to trade him for someone great? Sure, but not an uncaring scrub like Lavine.

Tons of teams would give up assets for Bobby.

But no, i highly doubt the Bucks have the slightest interest in Lavine.

The qualifier for the ‘Khris is still a playoff assassin’ takes is he hasn’t had to play multiple series for the past two seasons.

Maybe he can keep up that level of play. Or he gets tired if not hurt.

That’s where I’ve lowered my hopes to Middleton just being old man Kukoc or Horry.

Who exactly would that be because I can't seem to think of one? Maybe the kings are dumb enough?

Can the Lakers tell AD that Bobby is the center he's been dying for?

There just aren’t many two way stars with a proven track record looking like MJ when it counts in the playoffs.

In the last 4 years, Jimmy had a playoff season where he scored 14 ppg while shooting 29%, a playoff season where he missed it entirely with injury, and has shot 43% in his last 3 playoff series. Now he's older.

Don't live in the past on Jimmy Butler. Playoff Jimmy was a moniker earned in his 20s. He's 35 now.

Warriors, Clippers, Miami, and Memphis are my favorites.

Also, what's the dumb enough stuff about?

Are Bucks fans aware that Giannis/Bobby lineups have now outperformed Giannis/Brook lineups? Yet we never see the same energy against Brook, despite Bobby consistently needing to anchor bench lineups.

Where are you getting these numbers from? He shot over 50% the year before the Heat went to the Finals and 47% the Finals year.

You can't not play him with Dame. Dame plays 36 minutes a game. You can't pay $43 million for 12 mpg.

I understand you don't actually want him, I'm just pointing out how he's a terrible fit next to Dame.

I was just finishing a clipper idea for Bobby

Bucks:Mamba/Levine

Chicago:PJ/Pat/Kris/Bucks 31

LAC Bobby

Bucks get Levine and a back up center. If we have enough cap space maybe take back Craig as a back up 4.

Chicago gets a little bit of cap space next year with PJ being an expiring and then out of Levines 3rd year.

LAC While I don't know how much LAC would want another headcase looking for a contract extension they basically buy another 12 million dollar expiring next year.

Khris has played 30 minutes once this season. LaVine is playing 34 minutes per game and played 37 minutes opening night.

If it were the playoffs I’m not sure Khris could play every game of a 7 game series at this point.

What assets are we getting in the Portis trade?

Why are we giving up a 1st for Lavine when everyone else is asking for a 1st to take his contract?

So the ankles were fine last playoffs, but they're worse after a cleanup? Kavorkian do the surgery? If they're so bad, why didn't his feet fall off when KD undercut him this year? Khris played through it, and then played in a back to back. Yes, they're being cautious with him, it's the regular season.

Maybe a second or two for Bobby at most. Levine you're giving up two bad contracts, it's not expirings.

Has he not shot 43% over his last 3 playoff series? He has. I don't care how he shot when Jrue defended him like a brainless moron and forced Jimmy into all his favorite moves. Just look what happens when he's steered left.
