Considering that he's replicated it again this year with Sengun in the line-up with the Rockets winning, we can assume has it in him. Once again he's only 22yo, so he has plenty of time to develop his consistency.

Butler does not take many threes and prefers to live in the mid range area. The Rockets cannot start Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson and Jimmy Butler together as it would kill floor spacing, so Butler is not a good fit in Houston.
Finally, I’m aware Cam Johnson is a good fit anywhere due to his contract relative to his production, but the Rockets’ biggest weakness other than playoff experience is perimeter shooting. They need a sniper like him more than anything.
Jimmy has the ability to up his volume from deep, he's proven it in the playoffs. He doesn't shoot many in the RS because his team is full of shooters already. The most important thing your missing with his addition is that he would give the Rockets a go-to scorer down the stretch. Someone who is capable of generating a great shot and would fit in with Ime's coaching. This is Fox thread, so I don't want to derail it any further as I actually don't think the Rockets should make any big moves anyways and to let the season play out.
The more I think about the return for Sacramento, I don't think they'd want to bring back Vassell. They already have Malik on a great contract and an emerging Ellis ready to take on a bigger role.
I do wonder what the appeal would be for a Castle + Barnes + Sochan and picks package.
- Is it too much for the Spurs?
- Too less for Sacramento?
