Ok. I predicted Big V from the Wizards yesterday, then said Boucher today.

I think it's the Wiz, and the trade happens.

Even if Mitch is hurt, Wiz still get out of 1 year of Valanciunas
Knicks give them their pick back, which is more valuable to them than it is the Knicks.

Knicks deal out of the bottom of the C deck for Whitmore with Sims.

I don't even specifically like the valanciunas trade, just seems like what will go down.

Big = aging vet (not a wing), to the Knicks (a contender) and Wiz get better than some 2nds, the "2nds" the Knicks possess from the Wiz would revert back to being a 1st round pick for them. Which is pretty valuable for a team that absolutely sucks balls.

Idk enough to have an opinion on Whitmore but idc at this point. We need a wing who can eat some mins.

Also don't know sht about Boucher but I know enough about val to know he sucks. So I'll go work the former.

He sucks?I prefer a healthy Mitch...but .... nah.

Meh, can't defend for sht. Big for nothing.

Jokic cant defend for nothing either. But what he does do makes up for it. Val is a poor mans version of that IMO. Again I prefer a healthy Mitch, but if he isn't healthy I would gladly take Val.

Don't like it all you want. He's a CAA client, Thibs like bigs that rebound and pass, the salaries are close, and of all the sh*tty pick assets they have left, the Wiz getting theirs back is the highest.

I'd rather not. I'd rather Boucher or Stewart or just keep Mitch, get a cheap wing like Green or Whitmore.

Just feels like they want to do this. Not me. Them.

10 points and an assist in 16 minutes for McCullar.

Warren had 33 points, like he seems to get every other game.

Here is what Valanciunas did against the lakers tonight...

5 PTS (1 for 8 FGM) 3 REB -24 +/-

Keep in mind, this is a Lakers team without Anthony Davis...

Rather gamble on mitch coming back than have a big that is a complete defensive liability.

Maybe we can get him on the cheap then. His team is terrible and losing on purpose and he’s probably mailing it in. Ultimately if Thibs thinks he can get him to buy in I’d roll the dice. Bench needs to add offense more than d

But Mitch is a complete offensive liability and our bench already struggles to score most the time

Stagger mikal and Brunson with the bench. Val's defense isn't just bad its enes kanter bad. Plus Mitch provides offensive rebounding which subsidizes his offensive inability somewhat. Val brings nothing on the defensive end.

If this is really true then the FO really missed the boat on Richards. But if Mitch is coming back we can just trade for a back-up wing because center is well covered.

Mitch can only be traded, if he is, for another C, otherwise we're not deep enough at C
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
