Weird but maybe they were worried about having to pay him. Also, Max Christe kinda fulfills the same 3&D role.

The Mavs probably didn't want to pay Grimes in the summer. Martin will be under contract for 3 more years on a pretty cheap deal. Still don't like it for them. Smart deal by the Sixers IMO.

Martin is making 8mil a year for the next 3 years. That is a solid deal now that they have Christie to take Grimes minutes, and Grimes needing a contract this offseason.

Do you think the Suns will trade Durant? Reports are that they're listening to offers.

Jesus, the Blazers are really playing well recently. They may not make it into the playoffs, but they are going to get darn close if they continue to play the way they have the rest of the way.
Why so serious?

Giannis is gonna hate Kuzma.

Middleton is washed, but he was a key part of their deep playoff runs and championship win.

How was Kuzma playing this season? Stats wise I dont see nothing special.. probably upgrade over current Middleton, but - I'm not sure he could be the big 3 Bucks missing part.

Probably the best they could do given their limited assets, but I don't think this will move the needle enough to put them into championship territory.

I wonder how much they are regretting the Jrue/Dame trade at this point.

Giannis reportedly signed off on the trade.

A bit surprising to me that Washington did this one. Middleton had 38M? of dead money next year for them. That's a lot to pay for a 2028 pick swap which has a very reasonable chance of not conveying into anything. Maybe they love AJ Johnson, I don't know anything about him, but he's not getting any burn on a Bucks roster that probably should have minutes available for him.

I haven’t watched them this year, but can someone explain Haliburton? Seemed to get back to his star caliber play, but 0 points last night? How does that happen for a guy with his talent.

And Kuzma can bounce back… but that’s still a surprisingly bad trade. Makes me wonder why the Bucks didn’t pursue Patrick Williams instead, to be honest. Last thing I would do is bring another sieve on the floor with Lillard.

Washington probably just wanted Kuzma off the team. He checked out this season and hurt his trade value. Getting AJ Johnson could be seen as another FRP I guess.
