We gave up 2 guys that were expiring and not part of our future for a legit all star esp in the east.. who happens to be 27. Ya, he might be a bit injury prone but that's something we've seen our medical staff fix before, dont think we've had a scorer like him in some time, he's pretty un-guardable.
The way i see it, basically accelerated our rebuild by getting a proven star and still have the ability to get a top 5 pick this draft while not losing our expiring contracts for nothing, that's pretty good if you ask me.
The return for Siakam is looking nicer as others have pointed out. The pacers pick next season hurts a bit but i think we still got the better deal.
