another interesting thing that bobby said was scottie likes to pass and ingram likes to shoot. with quickly, RJ, brandon all out there, scottie can do what he naturally likes to do and that's distribute. imho, i would not be surprised if scottie ends up being the third or fourth option overall which is not a bad thing. i much prefer him as a back to the basket player as opposed to a outside in guy.

Other teams are gonna have to defend Ingram well, so this is a good point. Scottie as a 3rd option is great. I think triple double threat hopefully

If scottie can average out to be a 17-20ppg 7-8rbs and 8-10ast per game player with strong defence (3 stocks), we are in amazing shape. SB's natural instincts is to set guys up, you can see how he lights up when he makes an unreal pass. BI + SB could be an amazing combo

Starting to warm up to this trade more. I like Ingram as a fit next to Scottie not so sure about Barrett and Ingram though and Barrett is a few years younger with more upside.

If we sit Ingram the rest of the season, secure a top 6-7 pick and resign him for around $25-30m per year it will be a no-brainer trade.

What in the reality that we currently live in, makes you think that kind of extension is even remotely possible lol. If he pulls that off, I'll take back every criticism i've ever uttered about Masai. It aint happening my guy, tack on another 10mil on both low and high ends.

People gotta stop looking at cap in $$$ and look at percentage of the cap.

The drastic increases in cap make the actual salaries like funny money and hard to actually use as a comparison.

Same with IQs contract. 32.5 million seems like a ton..until you look at it as a flat contract. 22% of the cap goes to only 16% of the cap throughout the contract.


BI is not getting the max but he will at least be seeing 38-40 range.

I don't remember hearing about Boucher. I don't see how they can bring him back. They have to pay BI and then hopefully get a backup 5. I'd be happy to have Chris back though...just as long as it doesn't stop us from getting an actual 5.
