I am losing interest in Yankees.. baseball in general.
Let's go Dodgers.. LOL.
Thank goodness Knicks are doing well.
With all due respect, 237 homers, 815 runs and 761 OPS lead the AL in all 3 categories. Thier OPS+ was 2nd (stadium factors, so maybe the 2nd best offense in the AL behind Baltimore and at least 4th best in all MLB (behind the Dodgers and close to the Diamondbacks - fewer runs, same OPS+). 4th best in all MLB and 3rd best by some measurements isn't sucking.
I understand the salary frustration. I don't think other owners like the Dodgers approach and I think they're concerned that Cohen could be Dodgers 2.0, so it'll be interesting to see what happens with the next bargaining period.
And it looks like you'll be trading Stroman for pennies on the dollar now. That sucks. My Mets are in a similar boat with Sterling Marte, minus the not showing up to spring training. If Marte struggles, I think the Mets will cut him.
