That depends on how who Nurse chooses to play. If he plays Drummond, we may be even worse. If he plays Bona/Yabu, we will play the fast and athletic basketball we played when Joel was gone, now also with Grimes. We will win some games for sure.

The "at least two after the OKC pick is conveyed" part makes it seem to me like this pick become a 2nd if we don't convey the OKC pick this year or next.
My understanding is that essentially they traded the 2027 1st to BKN. But since the Sixers could convey a pick in 2025 or 2026 to OKC, they needed that ‘two years after’ language to satisfy the Stepien Rule. If they somehow do not convey a pick to OKC at all, then they will still be on the hook for a 2027 top 8 protected 1st to BKN.

If we could get out of one of the two 1sts we owe that would be great. Avoiding OKC for three years of top 6, top 4, and top 4 protections isn’t likely. However, if we can keep our pick this year and next, we all-of-a-sudden get a first back. And have an extra in 2028.

You can still achive that by tanking into top 8 in 2028 if we can keep our pick this year.
