As a 20 year old it’s pretty good. I like how you argue like Giddey is finished product at 22. Very bad faith.
Lakers only won 43 that year with Lebron and AD. Mavs had 38 wins that year with Luka and Kyrie. Thunder had 40 wins with SGA and Giddey. Timberwolves had 42 with Anthony Edwards, Karl Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. West was tough.
Interesting fact, he's listed at PF on Basketball Reference.com for that season. 6'6 Jalen Williams listed at SG. For people saying he could never play PF.

All of those guards showed more promise than Giddey
All of which guards? You mean the max contract players showed more promise than Giddey? Who's not looking at a max? Some of those guys are number 1 picks. They're supposed to be better.
Giddey was a sixth pick. Expectations should be closer to Coby White, maybe average level starter to good NBA player. I'm keeping Giddey over White every day.
Or are you talking about Lu Dort, with the whopping 9.8 pts, 4.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists in 29 minutes he's putting up this season? Or Jalen Williams, who's also probably looking at max or at least $30+ mill? He's back to his normal 35% 3pt shot, after a huge jump last year made him look great at it. Getting 5.5 rebounds in 33 minutes at forward, closer to Pat Will than Giddey. 5 assists in 32 minutes, lol.
If you hate assists and rebounds, they definitely show more promise. Always good to grab short for position guys in the NBA.
