Maybe, but Rui suffered a knee strain in the Twolves game yesterday and missed tonight's game vs the Clippers. In the Clippers game, Reaves left with what appears to be a calf injury, and he'll have an MRI tomorrow. Given the Lakers' schedule, they can ill afford to be without either or both of these players for very long.

they are winning games because of the defense and Jarred Vanderbilt was big part of that.. he was +20 tonight again. They will continue to beat teams as long as they have the defense

I'd much prefer to stay in 6 unless La gets to 3. I don't think they will as their March schedule is really tough and they aren't deep enough for the number of games left, especially if they get even one injury to a rotation player.

If we're dreaming, I'd prefer den/la are in the 4/5 and hou/mem get the 2/3. That way we play mem/hou/the 7 seed in our first two series while jokic/LeBron play each other and then play OKC. It makes our road to the wcf fairly realistic, at which point, I like our chances.

Obviously if we got the 3 seed instead of the 6 that would be even better but that's not dreaming, that's an acid trip.

Hou and mem look like they're struggling but both are 5-5 their last 10. Both have an easier march than either la teams or Denver. I think my scenario isn't all that far fetched and would be kinda perfect

Just get to 6, I don't really care who they face because they're probably still another year away from competing (more integration for Jimmy, maybe a few offseason moves). Nuggs, Grizz, Lakers, Rox all bunched up together, separated by 1.5 games, can't predict where they'll end up, so you can't really say 5 is any better than 6. Of those 4, I guess my preference would be HOU, MEM, LAL, DEN.

Lakers and Denver are both beatable, but Dubs don't have an answer for Jokic, and you know the league is going to put their finger on the scale for the Lakers HARD, with LeBron and Doncic they definitely want them in the Finals.

Best case scenario is top 4 with first round home court advantage. Better to take on OKC in the second round while they’re still inexperienced. I have a feeling Lakers will climb to top 3.

There is a real option to only play 1 of the LA, OKC, Den trio. We've had great records against the first two and play den reasonably well despite our most recent record but I would want to avoid those three teams.

We'll see if giving Jimmy space in order to dare him to shoot will be a sound strategy. Also, I'm sticking to my guns, for now, that the Lakers defense post the AD trade is smoke and mirrors. They can prove me wrong in the next 3 weeks considering their schedule gets insane. With the possibility of putting 4 shooters around Jimmy or dray, I'm not sure LA has the bodies to defend our motion offense. We'll find out soon enough, we play them in early April in a game that is sure to be meaningful to both teams. I think we run them out of the gym, to be honest, but would rather play the house/mem/7seed side of the bracket, if there is one.

My dream scenario is the Lakers get the 2 seed and the Mavs win the play-in for the 7th and then with a healthy AD just beat the hell out of LA. Then the Dubs win round 1 from the 6th spot and we get a few more Klaynation games by the Bay. (Mavs will be a tough draw for any team with a healthy AD and Kyrie)

I think the only favorable matchups against teams that are currently ahead of the Warriors are the Clippers and the Rockets.
