You wouldn't. Why should he?
because it's a joke. also nobody would've paid me that contract in the first place. yet I think I might be more useful to a NBA team than P Will would be on the same salary. If I'm being paid $90mil to play basketball, my coach would realize very soon that I'm not a basketball player. He wouldn't pay me, I'd sit on the bench with a positive attitude. They haven't figured this out with Pat yet, they're still playing him. And when he doesn't, he seemingly has a negative, mopey attitude.
off base to make an analogy to a common person too. I might actually give back the money if I really **** up a project somebody hired me to do.
They have to play Pat. You can’t pay someone $90 million and then decide then decide they’re worthless in year one of five. This is developmental season anyway and unfortunately we still need him to develop.
I agree, the damage is done and the team is bad regardless, they just never should've paid him. it should be the sort of thing that gets AK fired. drafting him in the first place was a dumb move, but paying him after a terrible rookie contract is just mind-boggling.
I don't want the haterade to reflect on Pat, he's just some dude who got lucky, I want it to reflect on the front office crippling this franchise.
I'm thinking that the only 'positive' about this team is Coby, and he's a GarPax guy!
