You have anything intelligent to say?
Reggie Miller would be proud of your New York Knicks impersonation.
That is what I thought.

This is what you think winning feels like? You think people invest months of time and passion into this team just to bash the coach after a horrible loss? You think we wouldn’t rather end the night the fuc*ing 4 seed? You think we like how it feels knowing that a loss on Thursday buries us in the play in? It keeps fuc*ing happening, it happens the same way almost every time, (catastrophic quarter with the same dumb mistakes and the same players involved.) What does it take for you to get mad about it? What does it take for you to dig deeper and ask why? Winning, winning is what happens when you score more than the other team. This feeling, is far, far, from winning!

Well, you bash the coach after horrible WINS, and average wins, etc, so at least you’re consistent
If you look back at our Game Threads, you’ll see they general run about 3 pages. But if you look at the losses, they go long, every time. Individual posters can choose which games to post about. So I ask this question:
Does our board get double the post count for bad games because MIN fans prefer to post negatively?

2. How you win or lose in the regular season is more important than some of you guys want to admit. Last year I was critical of our 4th quarter collapses even while saying we would likely win the chip. If we had corrected that flaw last season or earlier this season, then tonight the game thread would be more excited. Also remember that people tend to talk about the win more in the playoff scoreboard thread.
3. It is not exclusive to Minnesota fans. People like to vent frustration more than celebrating victory. You don’t boast about beating the Pels without Zion because everyone expects it. You do complain about losing to them when they are tanking and you are fighting for your postseason position. Do you honestly think we are wrong to be angry about another massive breakdown? Or is it just that you think we should only share happy thoughts?

I do wonder though that if fandom raises expectations so every win is just expected but every loss is a catastrophe that demands heads must roll? Maybe consistent winning, which we’ve done all last month, stops being appreciated. Maybe you’re right that this is just human nature.
The other point I would make is that I don’t have perspective on it. I don’t watch many games, and I have a longer view rather than freaking out over every loss. I’m the odd duck who stays at RealGM because I’m interested in GMing, which means thinking longterm, rather than using the site as a every other fan site.
