So the Ravens trading back into the first made sense. He was great value who they recognized as falling. It would be the equivalent of if SS fell to that range.
With Milroe…we are potentially trading up or using a high second for player who by all accounts is closer to a third round talent at the position.
So we are technically overspending or reaching if we make that move.
Lamar and Milroe are not in the same stratosphere as prospects. Lamar was a much better college player than Milroe was.
jalen milroe played for one of the top college programs with some of the best coaches to help develop and teach him, had the monstars from space jam as his teammates and not only could he not get it done, he was the reason that team failed.
i get that everyone develops on their own schedule but he had the best support staff and situation to do it and it just never happened. taking him early is too big of a risk, mid to later round picks is where it makes sense
