Chump.

Really oddly salty, lol. Lose a bet?

Bet? Nope. Odd & salty? Yep.

I'm actually happy for him, believe it or not, and like him as a dude.

I have a whole spiel on Rory that I'm just going to keep to myself, which is what I should've done in the first place.

Taking a mulligan here.

This week I'm pulling the trigger on my zero turn mower. Going with the Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 42" with Kawasaki engine. Great reviews, and I don't need anything more for 1.25 acres and some good hills (which is why I didn't go 50"+). But have only had push/self propelled mowers historically with smaller yards. Growing up my dad had a riding and always loved it. Used some zero turns for work back in the day too.

Cleaned out the garage, have the space, and now ordering it to get delivered. My yard needs a ton of work. Question I have for people here...anyone feel like an expert on grass/lawn care? I'd love to share some pictures of what I'm dealing with to get some insight. I have a strong suspicion I need to add top soil and overseed when the time is right. But there's probably a lot more.

I'm sure you'll love the Cub Cadet. I have a CC lawn tractor that's like 6 or 7 years old. Other than gas & changing the oil, the only money I've put into it is a new set of blades (damn rocks) & a new battery.

Haha. I bought this exact mower last spring. It comes on a pallet. They just drop it on your driveway so be ready for that.

Only comment I have is that it's not great on sidehills. If you're just going straight up and down hills you'll be fine, but turning on hills isn't great. It's not heavy enough. For my yard at least. Other than that, no complaints from me.

Wm. Belechick's (sp?) sidepiece used the word "upmost" in an email uncovered during an FOIA dump.

Upmost.

Might have a new ingredient to stir into the multi-flavored stew we cooking up at Chonestown HQ called posting.

My company experienced a bad hack recently and in what can't be a coincidence, about 20% of us weren't able to file tax returns. I feel like that percentage would be a lot higher if most people hadn't filed earlier. Company is abdicating any responsibility. I'm SO **** furious.

They've been vague ("here is what was "potentially" compromised"). It was definitely my social and name/address. Someone tried to get returns but jokes on them, I never get money back.

About once a decade I think that making homemade lasagna is a good idea and then I'm exhausted five hours later and wonder what in the hell I was thinking.

Goodness, what are you doing to make it take five hours? I know Italians would frown on it, but lasagna does not need to be this complicated to be delicious.

I keep lasagna stocked in the freezer at all times (literally) so maybe I'm just used to it.

The ridiculous thing is I made tomato sauce and meatballs on Monday and I was just thinking of something to do with it. Tonight I made a fancy infused bechamel sauce, no problem. Made the homemade pasta and that was easy. It was then that I was feeling myself and how simple it all was.

But then I had to par-cook all those motherf*cking sheets. Around 20, with only one pot of water. One sheet goes in, wait 30 seconds, remove it to cool and dry, transfer to another sheet lined with parchment, repeat the whole process. I wanted to die.

It's in the oven now. **** better be the best lasagna I've ever had (tomorrow, when I actually taste it).

Ah. Maybe it's a GF thing and I don't remember my beforetimes, but oven ready noodles are the way to go. It's such a big time/effort saver with negligible texture or taste difference.

Bannable sentiment, imo
