He's currently ranked as the 37th pick of the 2nd round, and could be had fairly easily by acquiring an early 2nd from a trade of either Allen or O'neale.
Charlotte-
Allen/ CLE 27' 1st to Charlotte for G Williams/ 33rd and 34th picks in the 25 draft. ** Grant Williams can replace O'neale.
Brooklyn-
O'neale to Brooklyn for 25' 2nd (36th pick)/ ATL 26' 2nd.
Not giving up a 27 FRP for two current SRPs
Now if you can send Allen and the 2025 FRP - don't the Suns have one and get the two 2nd Round picks this year
that said - I am good with Grant Williams as he expires a year before Allen - well allen has an option
I get there are protections on picks but tired of sending out future FRPs and chasing them....
The CLE 27' 1st is actually the worst (least favorable of) Cleveland/ Minnesota/ Utah. So most likely Cleveland, and a pick in the late 20s' (probably) the 27-30 range, just like this one, honestly, man! So I'm really not sweating it because i can see us offload other assets around then for alternative picks. And the CLE 29' 1st is also the least favorable of Cleveland, Minnesota, and Utah. So, most likely Minnesota.
(Phoenix will receive the least / less favorable of these; if the Minnesota picks falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Minnesota will instead convey its 2029 2nd round pick to Utah (via Cleveland and Minnesota to Utah) [Minnesota-Utah, 7/6/2022; Cleveland-Utah, 9/3/2022; Phoenix-Utah, 1/21/2025]
Again, not at all a good pick outcome. I wouldn't at all send the 25 pick out UNLESS we got back a much higher 25' lottery pick back in a KD trade. This draft is fairly loaded with premium, very solid rotation-caliber talent. But it's important to understand that we'd be taking back G Williams (currently not positive value) from Charlotte for Allen, who has greater value. So, possibly the CLE late 1st might not be necessary. But I just added it as a sweetener to pull the additional high 2nd. Because that would allow us to actually address 3 key positions for defensive needs around Booker and whatever package we'd get back from the KD trade.
29- Hoping for Carter Bryant (PJ Washington) or else Clifford ( 6'6 Mikal Bridges) to fall, otherwise I'm taking Alex Condon. ( 6'11 Isaiah Hartenstein).
33- Rocco Zisarsky (7'3 Rudy Gobert) or Ryan Kalkbrenner. (7'1 poor man's Brook Lopez)
34- Adou Theiro. ( OG Anunoby 2.0)
53- John Tonje. (Devin Booker 2.0)
** G Williams would come off the books the same time as Beal, giving us upwards of $70 million for the loaded 27' free agency.
