He should easily be our sixth man of the team. Cole's biggest problem is not his skill or talent, it is his consistency especially from game to game. But I think he should be fine. IMO he is a bigger offensive thread than AB and KCP on the floor. So he is the sixth man. I can even make a wild claim here. He could be a star. Don't hack me...
His splits say a lot. In W’s and L’s he averages the same stats, and with our record this season the sample sizes are even. Same pts, rbs, asts, USG%, but the big difference is his efficiency. TS% in W’s was 57%, and in L’s it was 50%. His Netrtg is a 25 point negative swing between his efficient games and his bad games. So whilst the consistency is a problem, the delta between good and bad games is probably a bigger problem.
Coin-toss Ross if he were a ball handler. He’s not at ‘bad’ player, and when he’s cooking he’s pretty unstoppable. But as you can see from the averages the nights he’s cooking aren’t frequent enough to shift his average win or lose.
Either way, for the playoffs we’re gonna need Ice Cole the absolute villain and I’m here for it. 26 points in 20 minutes is Lou Will good.
