5 of the 8 quarters are within 2 pts or less. This series is a lot tighter than some want to admit.

This is a war. I’m here for it.

Even with my sweep prediction I never thought it would be a dragging. Was just hoping it wouldn’t go long.

DET still hasn't had a game where Cade is Cade while THJ / Beasley make even their season avg % on 3's. We could have two of those games in the final 5.

Surely hope not. One or the other generally means we are doing something right defensively.

Detroit defense was all the way up in game 2. They pwn3d the paint and we couldn’t get anything going.

I just want to see some changes from the first two games of the series. I'm just looking for something different, something that will throw off their defense. Go deeper into the bench? Get other primary ball handlers? Try pick and rolls? Let KAT initiate the offense? Just give me something other than what we have seen so far and I'll be happy. We go into this game doing the same ish and it just starts leaning into psychotic territory.

both those things happening is pretty unlikely, This is a tight series but I think Knicks make a change for game 3 and win in not such a tough game.

Why would it be unlikely. The just did it for 82 games and we're not some defensive juggernaut. Do you know how many WIDE OPEN 3s THJ & Beasley missed in game 2? That should have been a 20 point loss

Counter-point:

You know how many wide open 3's the Knicks missed? And KAT being 1-5 for 2 games surely won't stick ...... right?

They were 22-19 at home, I'd expect a win just because young teams like that can generally have too much energy for their first home playoff game and end up doing stupid stuff going for homeruns to amp up the crowd.

only 3 teams had more road wins then the knicks in the reg season, I fully expect a 3-1 lead coming back home. Det are going to be amped up and prob even more overly physical and it'll work against them.

Thibs makes adjustments, he just usually takes a game or two. I wouldn't be surprised to see more Deuce in the lineup.

thibs should turn the starting lineup into a thibs team (mitch/towns/og/deuce/brunson) and then let the nova boys spice the bench up

Move di rass hole ball

MOVE.

DI.

RASS.

HOLE.

BALL.

Our defense has been where it should be. If we actually played like a team offensively Detroit would be down 0-2.

Move the ball, get it back. Don't dribble down 15 secs and then make desperation passes to the corner for a rushed and contested shot. Make the defense shift and open up holes.
