Bam and Wiggins finally attacking their matchups. It'd be infuriating if this game was basically over as soon as it started.

I don't think there's any conspiracy. Lebron just choked. The way Drake is getting clowned after the Kendrick beef was how Lebron was getting clowned after the Dallas final loss. I don't think he would sabotage Wade just to be a laughing stock for a full year. That loss was the lowest part of his career and probably one of the lowest in his life. People forget how hated he was, how much pressure he was under and how much the whole NBA fandom celebrated him & Miami getting embarrassed.
I don't know about that. In terms of overall legacy, it was better for him to 1) not have his first ring come with him not being the best player on the team and 2) give his contemporary/competition (friend or not) additional hardware. Think about it. If they never won another championship as a big 3, Wade has 2 championships and 2 FMVPs. Even if they won the next, Wade has 4 championships and 2 FMVPs, an a much better argument against LeBron.
At that point I don't think there is anyway their careers move forward without Lebron having a better career than Wade. Lebron was obviously built for longevity and Wade wasn't. Larry Bird wasn't Finals MVP when he won his first ring and Curry wasn't Finals MVP during one of the Warriors championships. I don't think anyone is saying that has hurt either of their legacies.

He had his meniscus in his left knee removed in college. That's what stopped him from being the goat.
I'm pretty convinced no one will ever be able to surpass MJ as GOAT in the eyes of the public due to the narrative around him. I'm not saying LeBron did surpass MJ btw, just the crazy standards I see MJ fans hold anyone who threatens him to....yeesh. Besides if LBJ doesn't come here, Wade probably has what like 1 ring? Maybe 2? You can be GOAT with 1-2 rings but no one will admit it, look at Wilt.

I'm assuming KD is talking if Wade doesn't have his meniscus removed. In which case, Riley isn't waiting around for the 2010 offseason, he's reloading after 06-07, and that's assuming we don't go farther that year with a healthy Wade.
In that scenario we definitely could have competed for more chips. In the east the only competition those years is a terrible Cavs squad, the Celtics (who were really only great in 07-08 and had injury problems consistently after that) and Dwight's Magic who were basically nothing but Dwight and bombing 3-pointers. Healthy Wade with any decent talent around him gets out of the east at least one or two of those years and anything can happen in the Finals if he's there. Also can you imagine the hype of a prime Wade/Kobe Finals matchup?
Don't forget, Wade didn't go to Cleveland to win rings (at least not until he was 35 and washed), LeBron came here to win rings.

But I'd pay any amount of money to get the real story behind the 2011 Finals collapse, all of it, every juicy detail. Of course we'll never hear that because LeBron's image is way too well protected now, but that's the scoop I want.

He would have never lived that down, but he knew that winning in the future would erase that. Which it effectively has. And 2) not give his contemporary/competition (friend or not) additional hardware. Think about it. If they never won another championship as a big 3, Wade has 2 championships and 2 FMVPs. When the team loses 10 in a row, blows a plethora of 4th quarter leads, scores single digit quarters on multiple occasions, most logical fans arent wired to think that losing out on a lottery pick that features a generational talent is worth surrendering for the privilege of getting smoked in the first round.

Sure & the only woman he's slept with during his NBA career is his wife

Yeah I guess it's possible LeBron threw it but if so he's a complete dumbass. He easily could have just frozen Wade out and shotjacked like Kobe did to Shaq in 2004 if he was that concerned with winning FMVP.
