Every stat and nearly every game suggested that, after losing 4 in the regular season and Boston having better players and stats in pretty much everything, did you expect him to pick the Knicks in 4-5?
At this point, we should know that the regular season is not the postseason though the first two games went very differently from the latter two...and who has the better players is very much debatable

Is it? You’re telling me the Knicks have a better roster?
At this point I think you’re mistaking personal biases with logic, there’s absolutely nothing suggesting the Knicks have the better team or has been the better team in the past I’d say 3-4 years.
the starting 5 is pretty even to be fair. i think most reasonable fans would agree.
tatum and brown are a tad better than brunson, KAT.
and OG, Mikal, josh are a tad better or at least even with KP, white and jrue. i think its a pretty objective take.
my subjective take honestly is that brunson is the best player in the series. i know, i know... defense, versatility, etc. goes to tatum. but i think the way brunson closes games and the type of leader he is puts him ahead of tatum, if you ask me. i want brunson over tatum on my team at least.
to me its brunson, tatum, brown then kat. And OG is pretty close to KAT. And i know most wont agree with it, but thats fine. i firmly believe brunsons intangibles are by far the best and put him atop the list.
and now considering that houser, KP and brown are banged up/ill/injured i think its definitley a debate to be had, which team has more talent. The benefit the celtics have is, that they have won a ring together, played together for much longer and they execute better.
and yes you are definitley correct, the last couple years boston clearly had the better roster. but i think this year we are right up there, in terrms of talent at least. And this is the 1st year they play together. the celtics are not better because they have the better roster, the celtics are better because they execute way better on offense and thats coaching, experience and chemistry aswell.
