First time having 2 of the top playoff droppers since 2021
I figured Wiggins would be even worse than he is tbh

We're getting Chit. We'll be lucky to keep Davion. Next season will be another desperate run for a plan-in spot.
Delusional level optimism is not a working plan. Things won't change until our approach changes.

Jay Williams is faded, he said Jimmy carried lesser teams to the finals than this warriors team minus Steph and then mentioned the bubble run Heat
That roster **** on the Warriors roster minus Steph not to mention Jimmy was better then.

I don't even think they move him unless something crazy happens with Pelicans and they blow it up UP. The return they'd have to get to move him with the current outstanding draft picks it just doesn't get them in a place where they can reload. I'm laughing still though because Pat low key really ended the Bucks window with them jumping in the Dame trade to beat us. Looking back they'd have been better off going for just about anyone else. Figure with the new CBA they'll be taking back salary with their expirings.
We're giving Pat credit for other teams making dumb decisions now?

I believe Jimmy wasn't even the leading scorer thru the ECF in the bubble run

I'd rather run it back then waste picks on KD and have to extend him for 60 mil a year. One bad injury and you are the Bucks, capped out with a bad contract and limited picks. If its KD, do nothing instead

We would have still gotten swept.
And with the way Butler was behaving, we dont even know what Butler would have shown up. We may not have even made it to the play in.
Now hes on TNT’s/ESPN’s golden boys team and with Curry, Butler has been able to repair his inage and theyre all actibg like what he was doing on the Heat never happened… but he was way wrong, he was ripped to shreds by former players and all of the media for his actions and even brought up the fact that this isnt new of hi. - hes done this before on 3 other teams.
Until yall realize that the Heat core of Herro and Bam is what is holding us back, you will never move on.
You can add Durant to this core and im not sure we are not in the play in again next year.
You cant add an all nba and all defensive talent like Giannis without giving up at least Bam and 3 firsts, but you all say Bam is untradeable, some of yall may even think Giannis and Bam is a wash
The core has got to be blown up, and rebuilt. And if this Heat squad ever comes to terms to that and are ready to trade everything (herro, bam, firsts, etc) theyve got for a real superstar, im here and all for it.
Adding some talent at the end of his career to this squad isnt going to do **** for us. So whats the plan?
Send Bam for Randle and I GUARANTEE we’re in the finals next year!! DO IT PAT!!!

Its funny you say that, and you would make such a joke like that because you probably believe Bam is one of the top 20 players in the NBA. You may even have him rated higher than top 20, despite him not having made NBA first, second or third team in 8 nba seasons…
By the way fun fact, Julius Randle has made all nba second and third team before.
Never have I said Randle was a top player in the NBA or even a top 20 player. I said hes a better all around player than Bam. And he has been so far this playoffs. By all statistics Bam is a better defensive player, we sure didnt see it against the Cavs though. He is far from an offensive threat that imposes fear to any defense.. teams respect Randle’s offensive game, every team knows his bag on that end is far bigger than Bam.
So if i have Randle rated somewhere between 30-40, Bam falls right behind.
And now we put the Bam and Randle stuff aside and think, are we really going to hold this team back because of Bam or Herro? The answer to Bam and Herro is Butler, or Kevin Durant? Really?
15 years ago we wouldnt settle for such low level “stars”. We would have done everything we can to trade up and get more. This fanbase has forgotten what it was like to have a Shaquille Oneal, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh… tim hardaway, alonzo..
Bam, herro.. get outta here with that.. that play in against the bulls gonna be fun again next year though

Yea Bam is likely in the top 150-200 AT BEST, I prefer players like Randle that have shown several times they impact winning at a high level (Randle has shown it with SEVERAL deep playoff runs) clearly don’t put up empty numbers, and has a great reputation as a guy who everyone loves to play with, doesn’t take defensive plays off nearly all the time, and doesn’t pout when he doesn’t get a boat load of the shots.

Sarcasm aside, when has Bam shown he impacts winning at a high level?
So far, only Jimmy has shown he does that.
Lets not look at the last 2 series, but even back in the 2023 Bam wasn't good:
.078 WS/48, -0.7 BPM through the playoffs and the eye test agreed. He couldn’t slow down Jokic one bit while also chucking middies the whole series (and playoffs) at 53% TS.
We quickly forget how Caleb stepped up: 0.14 WS/48, 2.3 BPM on 66% TS in 23 playoffs. He’s one big reason they even got to the Finals past the Celtics, not Bam.
For me, Bam hasn't proven anything, because the only time he was impactful was back in low usage role early in his career.
This higher usage Bam isn't impacting winning and never has, he's right around the 50th best player mark.
