Guys Celtics are not just better than Knicks, its not even close. Its like a top 5 NBA team against a college team. The problem is they up by 20 points in game 1 and 2, and are so disrespectful to Knicks that they just coasted, pure arrogance.

But if the Celtics locked in, they would blow them out 20 each game. Just need to play 48 minutes.

If Knicks win this series i will give each person in this thread 1k each. It just wont happen. 0% chance. This promise applies off course if no major injuries to Tatum/Brown/Porzingis/White.

These 2 teams play the ugliest basketball in the NBA. Thank lord first 2 games were close, this **** is unwatchable. Knicks starting the offense at 10 seconds mark since they want as little possessions as possible, Celtics chucking 3s, horrific basketball.

recipe for Celtics win is to use Tatum/Brown and even Porzingis to draw double team, and kick to the open man and watch the off balanced D try to recover, then hit the open shots or swing the ball, drive the open lanes created. They've got 2-3 guys who can draw double teams and 5 guys on the floor who can shoot. They get in trouble when they pound the ball too much and run iso, or when they go for the contested step-back 3's.

They hit 3's at a higher percent when the ball is moving.

Yes I watched those games just as I did this one. Celtics shot 25% from 3 in both of those games.

When you made the comment, it was in the 4th quarter just after Pritchard hit a 3. The Celtics were 1/1 in that quarter at that point and shooting over 50% from 3 as a team at that point. They finished 20/40.

I thought about 35 of the 40 threes today were good looks. Why would you turn down open looks when you’re shooting the ball well? Completely different to the first 2 games where they couldn’t hit them.

there is always a potential to shoot yourself in the foot with 3s at any given time

if you are ahead by 30 and for the rest of the game you shoot only twenty five 2s youll'll prolly get 25 sure pts and that doesn't include free throws. so the 30 pt lead in reality ends up being an impossible 55 point deficit for nky to ovrrcome in a little over one quarter left,,,,,and you didn't even breal a sweat.

in fact let LET NYK shoot themselves in the foot trying to mount a comeback. for every 3 they make at best, you still are countering with the better % 2 - that's a "1pt at a time" comeback on a 55point deficit

dont know if thats happening.. but i know if brunson gets defended like he is in the playoffs so far, we wont go far with this team. if we had a giannis the game would be a different game. im usually against this mentality to do overrreaction trades, trading the farm, whatever you wanna call it. but i think we need a giannis caliber player to compete.

the series isnt over but these playoffs especially our offense is unwatchable. and OKC and Boston arent going anywhere in the near future.

Brunson is a heroball player…hes great but would he sacrifice his game for someone else?

Shame we couldn’t put our foot on their throats, but if we were gunna lose, I’m so glad it was just because they suddenly shot 50% taking the same shots instead of from Mazulla making any adjustments. Can’t have our bigs getting in foul trouble that early again, and our offense needs to stop **** around, but you could see that even up 30 they got nervous anytime we put two buckets together. This isn’t a team who has it in them to come back if we can run out to the lead & as long as we stay in Brunson range in the 4th, we can close this thing out.
