This all "collective" decision making is a joke, there's no one accountable for anything and no clear vision for anything.
Every team has down years, but you can't have consecutive bad years and still have no clear path to get better or a plan to dramatically improve down the line.
When did we became the treadmilling Hawks?!
After Bron left, they had been trying to patch a sinking ship ever since, 10y of mid without a proper reset and they'll continue, the Jimmy fluke years done their damage
2 finals appearances and 3 conference finals on that sinking ship after the best player of the last two decades left and our max contract hall of famer got literal blood clots, and had to end his career.
What you guys consider to be a dumpster fire would equate to the best run of over half the organizations in the league in their history.
Yeah! They can hang all these almost banners now!
The bubble and 23 run were as fluky as it gets, there was no method behind it, just luck of the draw and the right matchups.
Even mid teams have good runs sometimes but 5th or 8th seeds NEVER win, it's just a historic fact and that is what they have been for last 10 years.
The definition of a mid treadmill team.
Bron left the Cavs too for basically nothing, they reset and he came back to a team which had resources and assets.
They went on to go to 4 straight finals.
Bron left them again for nothing, they reset and are elite again!
Stop being blind, proper resets worked for many organizations willing to do it properly, doesn't even have to be a tank, just a proper reset, which clears cap space, brings all your young players on the same timeline and accumulates assets.
