ALSO.... Another PG thread and another former mod not conspicuously absent.... The same one who used to act like a pompous clown anytime you dare said Thibs at baseline wasn't an idiot or the FO weren't stupid... The same one who even when you said to leave you alone would still send subliminals unlike his dumbazz signature..
Nah we're coming for heads tonight. The real fans are in here and we deserve it. The ones who dgaf about any agenda or internet points....

Let's go fuqqin Knicks. We've been waiting for this one.

I was a believer back in December. I lost faith during the DET series. I didn't quit but, I had zero faith we could get a win this series. What an insane run so far. Plenty of work to do still. 8 down. 8 to go!!!

Without knowing I know that's about Brown

Whats wild is it actually liked him coming into this series and now he has ascended to one of my least favorite players.

Though I cant hate a whole lot.... meh I can, but I respect the work he does in the streets. But I cant respect a man who doesn't what he did on the court. We have a code.

it's actually about dave portnoy  but i've historically respected brown too. i was actually worried about him taking over with tatum out. but once he went for sack the bounty was out

My bad. A lot of shtty people from boston for me to assume it was Brown. I just couldn't care less about portnoy to waste keystrokes on him. Fck him and the rest of Boston.

I was with you being worried. More cause of lolKnicks than anything else. Scars run deep. But this is a new run. We have HIM.

We beat Boston, why can’t we beat the Thunder? Can they even get out of the second round? Team looks a little sus. The Knicks are putting boots to asses no matter who is there

We showed tonight what teams have to deal with. We keep it up we can beat anybody. The defense and effort was that good.

Largest margin of victory in a series close out playoff win in Knicks franchise history...just wow
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I loved Brunson’s approach tonight, early on he was more as a decoy and picked his spots when they opened up, he didn’t force anything and he pushed the pace. Then in the 2nd half, he was more aggressive and put this **** to rest

mpharris36 wrote:the communication was great today. We didn't have many lapses on defense at all. That is very promising going forward. BOS is one of the toughest guards...and a good test to get ready the pacers series who shoot a lot of 3's but they don't have the same amount of shooters as BOS.

They mentioned they went last 48hrs focusing on defense. Brunson said they felt so connected. If Knicks bring it like this on defense the offense going to go.

there best offense is Hart or KAT clearing defensive rebounds and pushing the pace before the defense sets.

There is a correlation between the knicsk good defense and the amount of 3's they get up. They took more 3's than the celtics tonight. That is huge. Evne though KAT and OG missed a lot of makeable 3's...I am just glad to see the volume.

For all the slurping of the Pacers on here by some, the Knicks will be able to get out in transition a LOT more against the Pacers.

Yes, they shouldn't get into a running contest. Thibs will not allow that, which is the right thing.

But people should remember how the offense looked in December.
It's going to look like that.
Now they need to defend the 3, stay balance on defense in transition.

Pure joy now.

I’ll think about the Pacers on Monday. I am going to enjoy the hell out of this.

This is the best version on Brunson getting his guys involved and picking spots. It’s when we played our best in the regular season as well. We got more guys to free him up. The ball getting kicked back out to Brunson or Brunson kicking it out always feels in the flow.

We were more locked in tonight on defense in protecting the 3-point shot.

We also shot more 3 pointers - and for a higher % - than the Celtics tonight.

Knicks: 16/45 = 36%

Celtics: 12/40 = 30%
