Whats wild is it actually liked him coming into this series and now he has ascended to one of my least favorite players.

This isn't a flukey conference final run by any means. We have a legitimate chance at making the NBA finals. As long as the Thunder aren't there we've got just as good chance at a title as anyone else.

We beat Boston, why can’t we beat the Thunder? Can they even get out of the second round? Team looks a little sus. The Knicks are putting boots to asses no matter who is there

We showed tonight what teams have to deal with. We keep it up we can beat anybody. The defense and effort was that good.

I loved Brunson’s approach tonight, early on he was more as a decoy and picked his spots when they opened up, he didn’t force anything and he pushed the pace. Then in the 2nd half, he was more aggressive and put this **** to rest

the communication was great today. We didn't have many lapses on defense at all. That is very promising going forward. BOS is one of the toughest guards...and a good test to get ready the pacers series who shoot a lot of 3's but they don't have the same amount of shooters as BOS.

They mentioned they went last 48hrs focusing on defense. Brunson said they felt so connected. If Knicks bring it like this on defense the offense going to go.

there best offense is Hart or KAT clearing defensive rebounds and pushing the pace before the defense sets.

There is a correlation between the knicsk good defense and the amount of 3's they get up. They took more 3's than the celtics tonight. That is huge. Evne though KAT and OG missed a lot of makeable 3's...I am just glad to see the volume.

For all the slurping of the Pacers on here by some, the Knicks will be able to get out in transition a LOT more against the Pacers.

Yes, they shouldn't get into a running contest. Thibs will not allow that, which is the right thing.

But people should remember how the offense looked in December.
It's going to look like that.
Now they need to defend the 3, stay balance on defense in transition.

This is the best version on Brunson getting his guys involved and picking spots. It’s when we played our best in the regular season as well. We got more guys to free him up. The ball getting kicked back out to Brunson or Brunson kicking it out always feels in the flow.

We also shot more 3 pointers - and for a higher % - than the Celtics tonight.

Knicks: 16/45 = 36%

Celtics: 12/40 = 30%
