Why wouldn't Houston move Sengun if acquiring Giannis? Him and Giannis are similar in what area of the court they want to operate.

Murphy is not negative, and if the Pelicans are looking for a solid return, they should call Cleveland.

But do you think Dejonte Murray is negative value?

I do.

1. Does Giannis Get Traded? Where?
2. Where does KD end up?
3. How does Boston cut costs?
4. Will an unexpected star player ask out?
5. What is the earliest 2025 draft pick traded? Typically despite heavy rumors every year, top 10 picks don't get traded

BONUS: Will OKC win the championship? This seems to set the order of return offers for any big names if they're in on it or not.

1. Giannis goes to HOU for a package around Sengun + Jabari + Reed + 9 + all the PHX picks
2. KD ends up in DAL for a package around Lively + PJ + Klay
3. Boston moves Holiday to CHA in a 3 team move where Green or Okogie go to BOS, Nurkic to X and a cheap big to replace Al to BOS
4. Not unexpected but I think Lauri finally gets fed up and goes public about not wanting to tank another year.
5. #9 in the Giannis trade

BONUS - OKC wins

I think we will have one of the craziest off-seasons we’ve ever seen.

My guess is Giannis, Durant, and Brown are for sure moved plus a ton of mid level guys. I also would not be surprised to see Booker and Joker traded either.

With Dallas and the Spurs having the two top picks and wanting to compete now I think they look to add Giannis. And once an offer is somewhat agreed to for Giannis both Dallas and Spurs will make that same offer available to Denver. And Denver’s management isn’t afraid to make a bold move.

I’ll be shocked if 2 of the the top 5 picks aren’t moved and my guess is 3 of them will be moved.

And with so few teams having so many picks there will be a lot of trades to send current picks and low level players for picks later down the road. Teams like OKC, Houston, Spurs can punt their lower picks and teams looking for youth will come buying.

Excited to see it all unfold. Be shocked if it ends up being a bland draft and offseason.

Everything this whole off-season runs through those 5 questions though.

1. No - I don't Giannis will be traded. Ultimately it does not make sense for the Bucks to trade him now since they don't control their picks and can't tank.
2. On KD I was leaning Houston, but now I am thinking the Knicks - maybe OG & Mitchell out for KD w/Mitchell going to a 3rd team
3. They trade Hauser & #28 into somebodies cap space/trade exception. Then just sign vet minimums
4. Not sure - maybe Lauri like a lot of others are mentioning
5. I'll go with #3 in a trade down

I do think OKC will win the Championship

1..No
2..Heat(Wiggins/Duncan/Ware)
3..KP for Vucevic
Hauser to MLE(Spurs)
Jrue(Heat) Rozier +(Wizards) Smart (Boston)
4.. Markkanen/Sabonis/AD/Morant
(They will all move or none, but they will be available)

I mean that’s fair but as the Bucks I’d be more interested in restocking the pantry with picks. I need flexibility and multiple swings. In the end I’m guessing your point basically comes down to extracting Thompson from Houston.

But not Mobley from the Cavs. :D

Every fanbase wants to hold back their best piece. Understandable. What surprises me is how few posters are willing to budge to get the 3rd best player in the league in his prime. Especially teams that are clearly a Giannis away from being among the favorites even after dealing their sacred cow for him.

I'd trade Flagg for him even with Dallas not really being that because well Giannis just needs to get them to the tournament and then if you get a healthy AD/Kyrie(big if I know) then anything is possible. Can't imagine being one of these teams in much better position and in the easy conference not wanting to get their hands on him.

Giannis is in his prime, but it might be his late prime (hard to tell with physical outliers like him). He doesn't have outside shooting to fall back on when his athleticism declines. He only has two years on his contract, so your roster needs to be competitive now and a good fit post-trade. To be a good fit, you need a starting stretch big. It's not as easy figuring things out as it would be if you were trading for, say, Luka.

Because of the 2nd apron, every Cavs Giannis trade that involves Mobley leaves the Cavs with a relatively bare roster with a less-than-ideal frontcourt pairing in Giannis-Allen. To fix that too, you're tearing a 64-win team down to the studs. It's reasonable to just decide to stay the course with your talented likely-All-NBA 23 year-old and keep the existing roster together as much as possible.

Not saying a Giannis trade would be a bad idea for Cleveland, but it's very hard to get right and the penalties for not getting it right are pretty high.

As a Bucks fan this hurts me but I do think Giannis gets traded to either Spurs or Rockets.

KD will go to Timberwolves with Dillingham, Randle, and DDV to Suns with G.Allen and N.Richards for a starting center.

Boston moves both Jrue to Dallas and KP to Hawks.

Lauri gets traded

Draft wise I think if Giannis gets traded to Spurs, #2 100% comes to MKE. I also could see #3 traded to maybe Nets for like #8, & 2 other 1sts Nets have. Or #3 & Oubre (Opts in) for H.Jones and #7.

I can see the Bucks trading their '31 1st for some upgrade... Kuzma and '31 for Cam Johnson for example. Then Milwaukee making a few other moves around the edges and seeing where things sit in the East with Tatum down around the deadline and if they can't get off the ground still, trading Giannis at that point.

Would love Cam Johnson if that got it done.
