He got lucky on the Hart recovery too. IIRC he made that pass as well. His shooting was great but he was a trainwreck otherwise.

Can't believe fans I have read online are complaining about Haliburton's choke gesture.

It all adds to the theatre and drama of the occasion.

It's honestly great to have a pantomime villian like Hali back in the NBA.

This was a magnificent underdog performance by the Pacers. Loved it

yeah, that was rough. Knicks lost this game mostly on their own but that was a huge no-call

True. It definitely was a huge momentum swing since we hit a 3 right after that block.

It's also an extremely hard call to make in real time. The replay did show that it was a goaltend but the refs have to call the game in real time and in real time, I couldn't tell you whether it was a block or a goaltend.

I thought it was clear as day on tv. I repeat this every few months but we're in 2025, a live-feed video ref should be a thing.

Again, you can apply this same logic to game 1 of the Knicks Celtics series. Celtics shot insanely bad from three and Knicks barely squeaked out a win. Surely the celtics would start shooting normally and go on to win the series right?
