don't forget we missed 2 FT's and also had a missed goaltend that turned what would've been a 6 pt lead in OT to a 1 pt lead. pacers aren't winning the series, give me a break.
You sound exactly like a couple of my fellow Celtics fans after G1 of the 2nd round.

so many people are going to eat their words about randle

Because the game was over. Defend the 3, or hit your free throws, and that’s it. They didn’t have all the time in the world to erase a deficit. And yet they did.

yeah, that was rough. Knicks lost this game mostly on their own but that was a huge no-call
True. It definitely was a huge momentum swing since we hit a 3 right after that block.
It's also an extremely hard call to make in real time. The replay did show that it was a goaltend but the refs have to call the game in real time and in real time, I couldn't tell you whether it was a block or a goaltend.

there weren't any miraculous shooting streaks, lucky bounces, or missed calls in our comebacks.
we just played our basketball and Celtics played their basketball and we came out on top because the Celtics couldn't hit shots like they thought they could.
it's completely different
Again, you can apply this same logic to game 1 of the Knicks Celtics series. Celtics shot insanely bad from three and Knicks barely squeaked out a win. Surely the celtics would start shooting normally and go on to win the series right?NiceLikeChrist wrote:people overreacting to this don't even realize how many things had to go their way to squeak out a W

It all adds to the theatre and drama of the occasion.
It's honestly great to have a pantomime villian like Hali back in the NBA.
A player who talks the talk and walks the walk.
This was a magnificent underdog performance by the Pacers. Loved it
