He has given us 12 seasons and everything personal or team wise that the game could give. Allen, uniquely, had equivalent levels of success in all 4 places. Some younger fans may only know about him from his Miami days...
Certainly not the exact same thing. But if the media pumps footage of his other championships into his career highlight reel (and they definitely would), then
it's likely most people would begin to associate him with that team over time.
Also not the exact same thing, but do people regard KAJ as a Buck or a Laker? Do people even remember he played in Milwaukee?
And in this era with even shorter memories and attention spans?
I can't be the only one here who doesn't give a **** what anyone else thinks regarding Giannis (or anything else for that matter).

I'll remember his time with the Bucks, couldn't care less if no one else does.
You're probably not the only one. But I'm not as enlightened as you.
I don't want Indiana to win because I don't want Haliburton's insufferable behavior rewarded. I don't like the Vikings because their fans are smug (somehow). It brought me great pleasure to see Boston lose because of all the Massholes I've encountered throughout life. The Cubs breaking their curse sucked because they look down on us.
In sports, I'm as petty as it gets. And so yeah, it will annoy me to no end if some large market tries to claim our superstar - the guy who made NBA basketball relevant in Milwaukee, who brought the entire community together in civic pride, who helped the world know that there exists a city called Milwaukee, and they were at the apex of the basketball world.
I don't want Silver and coastal jerks who look down on us to take that from us. Especially to chase the chance to be mediocre a few years from now.
I can't be the only one to feel this way.
