It creates a bit of a potential dilemma down the road. Transgender biological males are currently allowed to compete against biological girls and women in HS and at the collegiate levels.
What if transgender bio males started taking roster spots (and paychecks) away from bio women in the WNBA? We know the straight players would protest but would the gay players in the league oppose this as well? ESPN wouldn't know which side of the story to show bias towards.
As a country, we really struggle with "common sense" decisions on both sides of the political spectrum.
