Boy howdy they are.

Ebbs and flows. But you can wake up to like 10 reports + a bunch of posts/PMs complaining about you not dealing with it while you were sleeping.

Reports complaining about reports? Sheesh

1. Julius
2. KAT
3. "Meh - makes no difference."

4. Julius AND DDV

I was going to pick 3 till I remembered we'd also have DDV which would sway me to #4.

Curious for the board's takes on this.

Easily KAT.

Randle and DDV. This team desperately needs a secondary shot creator. Especially in the East. No one with T-Wolves looked good against the chosen ones. Knicks offense should not be THIS bad so deep into the playoffs. We were sold on record breaking nonsense that other teams suddenly knew how to scheme against.

Now, if we're talking about a different coach that gets the most out of KAT on offense, then let's talk. Right now, KAT/Thibs pairing sucks and it makes JB look bad, and I trust Randle far more to study film than I do on KAT.

We are averaging 118 ppg in the series so I’m not sure why the offense is the problem here, they are scoring enough to win these games and can’t get stops

It looks like Minny will either re-sign Randle to a long-term deal or let him walk... Either way, might go down as a major loss for them and DDV looks like he has one foot out of the door.

That's not saying much. Pacers' D is atrocious and the quicker you score, the quicker they score twice. That's the whole point to their offense.
Scoring enough to win games is the complacency we're stuck in. It's the fallacy we told ourselves earlier in the season to let us sleep at night. "Well, we can definitely out score people, so D is whatever." Not good enough.

"...the quicker you score, the quicker they score twice." This. And doubly frustrating are the wide-open 3pt-nothing-but-net scores from Hali and Nesmith.

Their defense has not been atrocious this series. Nesmith has Brunson shook.

Randle would be turning the ball over against the Pacers at an ungodly rate. Y'all can't be serious. Dude is a loser that feasted on two teams that didn't have centers, the second he goes against a squad that has a perimeter defender on him and a shot blocker in the paint he turned right back into that same old quitter he has always been. His game 2 and 4 were all time awful, anyone still signing up for that is kidding themselves.

Individual D is not good team D. D'ing up a stagnate offense that doesn't know how to swing the ball doesn't mean you have good D. D'ing up an ISO heavy set is not good D. Being allowed to play physical is not good D. Playing full court press is not good D, it's wear down D. Knicks after 2 freakin' series not understanding Pacers' game plan on JB is the problem. Full court, physicality. SGA is going to average 15+ FTs a game.

I disagree. I think the Pacers D has been better than everyone in here was assuming it would be. How is playing full court press and physical defense not good D and only wear down D? Isn't wearing us down so we're frustrated, exhausted and less effective a winning defensive strategy? As a Knicks fan I hate saying this, but the Pacers D has been working on us for the most part. We're down 3-1 and the Pacers are 1 game away from being in the finals. You don't make it to the final dance with a team that has "Atrocious Defense" as you put it.

Lends to some great covers too. Adele's "Make You Feel My Love" is fantastic. Then, obviously, there are the classics like Mr. Tambourine Man (Byrds) and All Along The Watchtower (Hendrix).

KAT for Randle looks like a lateral trade for both teams, we ended up in exactly the same place. This is the only time I can think of that ever happening.

Knicks could use more bench help and a replacement for what IHart gave us.

KAT was flamed nonstop for dealing with a smaller player on him + shot blocker waiting, all the digs of "He can't post up Jrue/Harris lol" yet he averaged 20/10 and two series wins under those conditions. Randle was guarded by Caruso, Williams and Dort, 3 smaller players, why couldn't he dominate in the post? Don't answer because I will give it the same amount of rational thought yall gave to why KAT couldn't just post up a smaller player, you didn't want to hear the why, so I won't hear it either. Randle is ass, the second Randle has to face the same type of defense, he turned into who he always was, which is 17/5 with 3.6 turnovers per game to 3.0 apg, and -24.

It's no fun when the rabbit got the gun, huh?

That Hendrix version is a pinnacle 60s moment IMO.

Conversely,The Derek and The Dominoes cover of Hendrix's Little Wing is savage, brilliant and better than the original.
