If the front office had to step in to force Mitch into the starting line up and for him use the bench, he was already fired weeks ago unfortunately.

I'm not even trying to be funny I'm being real. I think Leon was out well before we hit Game 6.

I really think that a modern offense will unlock this group's potential

It’s perfect for today’s NBA, the Cavs run a lot of sets that we used to run last year with Donte and ihart and back cutters. His defensive philosophies were amazing, he ran the 2-3 zone defense in game 3 with the Cavs that beat the pacers, but Atkinson went away from it in game 4 and 5 for no reason. He’s the best up and coming modern NBA coach

No shade to your post, but we have no idea what Johnnie Bryant relies on. He's never been a HC

He's never run anything ever.

Yes he has, skip to 7:20 in this video and he explains his concept of spacing

Now watch this entire podcast and you can see what his concepts are on trapping the pick and roll, and defensive schemes

A lot of sets that we ran in 2nd and 1st quarters last season were plays that Thibs allowed Bryant to cook

The guy can coach

It was immediately apparent that Thibs never had our guys on the outside moving - usually they stood around, and so may of our passes couldn't be made or resulted in turnovers. Great video, and I loved watching the whole thing.

brunson and KAT played 95% of their minutes with either josh hart, precious or a combination of both on the floor. lmao... that is all you need to know about Thibs approach to this team/offense.

Brutal. Hart is a 24 minutes a game bench spark plug. Stop making him out to be more than that.

If Thibs stayed, we were never improving our bench this summer since every free agent would know they would not play here anyways. The move had to be made assuming we are running it back with the same core.

Thibs made many of us question our appreciation for Hart.. Im really upset I talked down on Hart knowing his weaknesses... Just brutal..

Hart is an awesome player. He should be deployed much more appropriately moving forward. He's an awesome 6 man.

I don't see the appeal of dating someone in their early 20s and I'm like 30 something years younger than Bill.

Like some of these women look like little kids still.

Many people in their early 20's are still kids. A few a adults. For a grown man to want someone who is essential a child in a mature body is a problem for both of them, but neither realizes it. So even a smart guy can be really stupid.

I found it interesting how people took anything positive Brunson said about Thibs so literally when this is what most pro ballers do with their coaches to some degree. I said it did not mean that is exactly how Brunson feels about Thibs and it was merely him being politically correct.

Brunson grew up with Uncle Thibs so it would be like crapping on a relative in public. He just wasn't going to do it.

I'm sure Brunson has a soft spot for Thibs, but that has nothing to do with whether he feels Thibs will help him reach his goals, because the reality is Thibs would not. Thibs did, however, give Brunson the opportunity of a lifetime to do WTF he wanted on the court and he became Mr. Clutch so there is a debt there, but that's as far as it necessarily goes.
