If I knew Giannis wanted out, I would be a big time Indy fan this series. An OKC loss would make them more likely to make a move for him, and one of the most acceptable packages would be Holmgren, the Euro they stashed, and a plethora of picks.

Chet couldnt even see the floor in the last 5 minutes of a finals game. Pass for me.

Define acceptable? That is an absolute trash offer. Chet's played 114/246 possible games so far in his career and looks like a #3 on offense; OKC's FRPs outside of their own are now Denver, Houston, and LAC picks which are not enticing; 'the Euro they stashed'...who is it?

It's very funny that he won't put Barnes in, but it's VERY funny that he put protections on the 2032 pick. Knicks didn't even get that for Bridges.
You saw I took him on. And his response was that we’d have to take whatever crap was offered if Giannis wanted to go to Toronto. Ie the superstar picks where he’s traded.

Giannis has 4 young kids, is a family man and already plays in probably the best city in the league to raise a family. I'd be shocked if asks out but I do appreciate him trolling national media and raising the value of our picks.

Reading the comments from what is more than likely half bots, is funny and sad. Giannis really can't win either way. If he stays they'll call him a loser and if he leaves they'll say he ran from the grind. What the actual **** is wrong with NBA fans these days? Just miserable 24/7.

“The momentum for him requesting a trade from milwaukee has significantly stalled.”
LOL. The trade request first hit terminal velocity and then its parachute opened.
These people are absolutely ridiculous. If you’re following them, the problem is you.

Alright! Props to RealGM proper for lifting this up:
https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/280681/Rival-Teams-Lose-Confidence-In-Giannis-Antetokounmpo-Trade-Possibility
"Honestly, right now I'd say the prevailing sentiment from rival teams that I'm speaking to—around the combine two weeks ago, two and a half weeks ago—there was no shortage of optimism, of hope, of excitement from other teams that they were going to be able to potentially make an offer to get Giannis Antetokounmpo into their franchise, into their building," said Jake Fischer on Thursday's Bleacher Report livestream.
"Of late, I'd say that that confidence has been replaced with skepticism. To a man, from talking to agents, team executives, whoever, there is not a lot of belief right now at this juncture. It's only June 5th—anything could happen—and I've been told all along that if there is a decision, a formal decision made to shut or open the door on trade conversations for Giannis this summer, that it would likely happen closer to the end of June and when the offseason really, really begins.
"But I'd say for now, for now, talking to people around the league, the assessment and the expectation is that they're going to believe it when they see it—that someone who has valued being the franchise face, that the central lynchpin of the Bucks franchise, is going to want to play somewhere else."

Listening to some Minnesota talk radio this morning and they would be willing to include Jaden McDaniel. Probably not Terrence Shannon though

NBA marketing has conditioned their fan base to manufacture drama.Matches Malone wrote:Reading the comments from what is more than likely half bots, is funny and sad. It's the only sport where the majority of the fan base is legitimately more interested in who will play where, why and when than the actual games.

Even the media isn't safe from crashing out over this Giannis story lmao.
Jake Fischer finding out fans and other media outlets have no shame twisting his reporting to fit an agenda when he's only reporting on things he's heard.

The way I see it, we aren't getting the next Giannis or Jokic in FA or via trade. We need as many bullets as possible to try and get the next one. And while we can speculate where those picks are going to end up, someone can always have a disaster season like PHX and end up giving is something on the top 10.

He probably shouldn't have said anything in the first place. It's not like he reported actual verifiable facts.

This could be said for most of the reporting around Giannis.

He writes general pablum with no actual facts and now he gets upset because some people read it and assumed he knows what he's talking about?
He is a click bait writer, which includes, in my view, 95% of those out there. That includes the well known national writers.
In an era where clicks determine your success, I don't blame these guys. I just think it would be more rewarding finding something more useful.
