You’re invited over to our board, where I’ve seen people discussing it!
They would want Mcdaniels + picks probably

More affordably I think Jrue may have some left in the tank for a similar slot.

Seems crazy good for Orlando who upgrades their biggest need and turns two meh picks into a pick with real upside. They suck a lot of value out of this deal.

Texas Chuck wrote:Yeah I'd have that salary and 25 not enough for Simons. 16 and the LAL 1st having similar value seems about right to me, with guys like you who value mid 1sts now probably siding with it and guys like me who don't value mid 1sts much but want big upside swings siding with the latter.

I'd much rather have the Jazz keep the better player in Collins and the flexibility of his expiring money than to take on Vassell"s contract.
Is Collins the better player? Vassell went from being really overrated here, to apparently worse than a one-way PF who probably doesn't start on a good team, all in 12 months.

1. Hardy
2. Powell
3. Martin
4. Prosper
5. Thompson
6. Williams
7. Marshall
8. Christie
9. Gafford
10. Washington
11. Kyrie
12. Lively
13. AD
14 Flagg
I think that's how the team would view it maybe? But 3-6 can all probably be rearranged in some fashion and 7 and 8 might be flipped. Williams would be higher but he makes so little and they need cheap contributors so stuck him at 6. Kyrie and Lively should maybe be flipped.
jayjaysee or Khalil will probably have a different order, but this how I think the team would see them.

I think portland fans thought expirings and 25 is about right, or KCP and 16 if longer term salary. Maybe owes a feel seconds, but i dont think Simons warrant a mid 1st

rockets want to sign him for <25, his camp will aim for 30+... they will likely go into RFA

It's not so much that. My order definitely isn't their rotation spots exactly, but if it were, I'd give up 6 and 8 for a guy who'd be 4th I think. The issue would be more about losing 3 frontcourt guys in one fell swoop. Lively/AD/Washington/Flagg is great but that's only 4 guys for 3 spots and 2 of them miss a lot of games and one is a rookie.
I think the sweet spot for Dallas has to involve Klay Thompson. Unless Dallas just wants to play Jrue at the 3 a bunch which isn't the worst idea, but still I think on the Dallas end moving Klay makes the most sense. But of course I understand deals have to make sense for other teams too, so I might not get my preference.
