Maybe Finch is being extra hard on the guys he actually wants to *develop*? Not letting these young guys got into the habit of making the wrong plays because he wants them to be valuable contributors long term.

There is possibly some merit to the idea you propose, but IMO it probably works with 1 or 2 players out of 10. Most players do best when given some rope and learning to play through their mistakes.

I’m not a fan of Finch’s offense or the teams lack of urgency… Howevery I think he has developed Ant, Jaden, Naz, NAW, and Vanderbilt while coaching the wolves.

Michael Jordan———Ant
Lebron James————KG
Kevin Garnett————Love

I just found this YouTube short saying big things ahead for Rob. It just popped up. I don't have a date on it and it doesn't provide anything positive from Finch. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4ckcTsIT1W8

I remember Trae Young was struggling mightily in his first seasons in NBA. Then he added range to his 3PT shot and started to use floaters. He also learned how to bait for fouls. I wonder if Rob is similar type of scorer. As passer Young has an edge.

Looking at his statistics, it doesn't look like Young ever struggled that much (although he took a sizeable leap from year 1 to 2). The big question I have for Rob is whether he's going to get the opportunity to get comfortable. Are we going to have the luxury of letting him play through his mistakes?
