No the Suns will want Duncan’s contract because they can waive his partial guarantee and get under the 2nd Apron. Duncan’s contact is specifically very valuable to the Suns in an ironic twist.

Sending him to the Nets into cap space relieves them of the full $20M but they’ll have to pay if they want the nets to eat all that

Claxton would be a good get for PHX in this deal. Honestly, they were terrible this year. Getting some good quality role players alongside Booker, they’ll probably be a better team even if the talent level is lower.

Nets would only be eating the partial amount not the full 19.8. They can first absorb the space then get 10 mil back. It’s only 9.8 so they can eat that for a few 2nds.

Good point, I would think getting Wiggins over there would make sense for them. That allows them to shave like 40 million off the cap total and I think gets them under both aprons, and I don’t know if they need to grease the wheels for BKN on that.

Idc about his age, unless he suffers a very serious injury he is going to great next season for sure and a 23+ PPG scorer on elite efficiency for the duration of his contract with the 2 year extension.
