"TOP 8 " DOES NOT MEAN SUNS KEEP PICK IF IT'S TOP 8, TOP 8 IS REFERENCE FOR WIZARDS PART OF A DEAL AS THEY DON'T "OWN" 2026 PICK, IT GOES TO KNICKS IF IT FALL FROM THAT TOP 8 PROTECTION.
But Wizards just won 18 games and are least talented nba team, so their part of the deal is going anywhere.
Thanks for clarifying next year's pick. I'm pretty they calculated that. That was what I was worried about the most. Haha... Hope the suns bounce back ... Making it even more of a moot point. Lol
We sent out KCP and Cole .... that people were down to give up for anything. Therefore draft capital has to go out. Price of keeping players that they might look at as the core. And we got a player that I would have had at the top of my list.
He's near ideal for what we need. He's got the offensive punch we need ... Maintaining a decent level of size and defense. We have secured 4 players either going into their prime or in their prime. If they are down to float the money .... This has been what people have wanted. This was a win now move.
You give up draft capital for the future to secure the now. If things don't go as plan.... Players can be traded for future capital.
If we run into the season with
Suggs/WCJ2?
Bane/Black/Howard
Franz/TDS
Banchero/JI
WCJ1/Moe/Goga
I'm pretty happy with that team. Balance of offense and defense.... Strength in both the starting lineup and developing strength on the bench.
