I don't think one-way NBA players are that valuable in general now. Teams are smartening watching all the most recent NBA Champions being loaded with 2-way guys (especially guards).

Can't see a guy that gets targeted on defense having much value to a playoff contender.

I kinda called the Memphis shakeup, just didn't expect it to be Bane

It may not be just Bane.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I guess we have to wait and see.

The toppling of Utah started with O'Neale and then Gobert trades before Mitchell trade. Usually a team starts with most valuable player in a tear down but it can stat with a great deal on a lesser player.

Nah Ingram/Barrett/9 is the most obvious package from toronto.

Suns have been wanting a starting C though. Poeltl needs to be in package I think. Would you prefer to move Ingram or RJ?

Or are you expecting pick 9 to be the starting C?

they can trade for a C with Barrett/9. I did one where they got Bitadze/15/19

Hearing whispers that Poeltl+RJ+2xFRP is a potential offer for Durant. #9 not involved. I think this would be the best offer for Durant if Masai wants to pull the trigger.

Yeah, or just starts with what they get a great offer for, and then realize they cant really replace it and might aswell sell off. Its a kinda good time to tank atm in the west if u dont see ypurself being able to reach contender status, and try to be great 4-5 years down the line

That only happens I would assume if Durant would sign an extension at Toronto (which seems unlikely)

It does seem probable at this point that Durant ends up in Miami with Claxton joining the Suns as part of a three way trade with Brooklyn.

Would make the Heat an instant contender again I would think. Takes a lot of the scoring load and burden off Bam.

I'd like to see Durant and Ingram play together.

I don’t know why it would seem probable for Clax to go to the Suns in any iteration of a Miami trade.

What exactly is Brooklyn receiving as compensation?

In a Rockets or Spurs KD deal there is a clear path to the Nets extracting proper value.

With Miami it’s like we’re just expected in the deal to be the farm team for free.

Nets still want to clear cap space/get expiring contracts and future draft capital.

Think they are building for a big run at next year's Free Agency class, which is a lot deeper tbh

The Nets have a masterplan long term I am sure

I think it is just 10 and a future pick or 10 and Smith (who would be a great fit with Sarr).

Idk. Moving up in the NBA draft costs. How about a future Rockets 1st instead?

Based on talent, age, fit, and salary, is Reaves a near-perfect fit for the WOLVES? What would the trade look like?
Reaves to WOLVES
Dillingham+++ JAZZ
DDV+ Kessler LAKERS

What would that ++ be going to Utah? The WOLVES' 17th pick? The LAKERS' 2031 FRP? Knecht? The Jazz reset the clock before paying Kessler (and losing much of his value). This is also a draft loaded with good center prospects, ideal for replacing WK.

The LAKERS could still try to get Wiggins, with expiring contracts + swaps? Maybe use Hachimura?

Really no interest in Dillingham, we are already inundated with undersized guards.

Actually I don't understand why TOR insist to trade away their starting C in Poeltl, can't rely on a rookie C, if TOR wants to be in the playoff.
