I thought about it after I was being impatient. We have the 50th pick. I can't imagine it will take a lot of time preparing for the draft.Still. The offseason is about to begin. I would feel more comfortable having a HC in place for that. Even though we only have 8-10mil to spend or whatever.
What gives you this impression about more interviews?
One of the reports said they had interviews lined up next week and generally they're talking about a long process.
Like you said, our draft pick likely won't play a big part in the coaching search and free agency should be around the margins as well.

he got an extension a year ago that starts this season. so maybe that's not happening and he's just getting the high priced assistants.

Always was but people around here fell for the media trolling them yet again.

I couldn't tell if there was another component but it doesn't look like it.

We don't need the media to know that the Knicks are a clown show. They have proved it objectively.
Just hire Rick Brunson and get it over with. That's the direction the Knicks are going. They don't want to piss Jalen off and see a repeat of the KP scenario.
They've been anything but a clown show over the last 4-5 years. We're so desirable even Durant wants to be traded to us. Stop living in the past and get with the times.
Knicks aren't even on Durant's destination list LOL.

Yeah. To me it looked like they were tampering and trying to float a smoke screen. Agent favors make more sense now but, didn't Kidd already sign one? Were they really just shaking the trees?

We need a coach to get to us over the hump for a title. Developing rookies is not a priority. We need a coach who can get the best out of our top guys first and foremost. From what I'm reading that's Brown.
Supposedly we'll see more interviews but, as of now, I'm thinking Brown is the better choice.

We need at least 2 of them them to be rotation-level players who can steal 10 mins in the playoffs if we're going anywhere next season.

developing our some of our rookies to be contributors is exactly how you get there. Just like Indy has developed there bench to be contributors we need to do the same.
