No way. Carlisle is a HOF level coach. He’s not losing to a couple of cast-off second-rate coaches. Get real.

Is that Marc Berman tweet serious or sarcasm?

if we could sign him for the taxpayer ML, assuming he's bought out, that'd be a great get. other teams will assumably offer more, but maybe he's tryna ring chase and change the narrative around his career

Their first option is to trade him, but he's got a no trade clause and the worst contract in the league, otherwise its a waive...but apparently he makes so much that even stretching his contract for a waive is really difficult..

If they waive him I wonder where he goes? I don't think a team over the first apron would be able to sign him even on a minimum, so it would have to be teams below the 1st apron. A team could maybe waive some people of their own

He would have to agree to a buyout..or agree to the trade that very few other teams would make.....

No I don't think he would have to agree to a trade. I don't think teams over either the 1st or 2nd apron can sign players who made more than the MLE the season prior.

Sorry I meant either or because of the no trade clause.

Keep in mind Houston with that trade is in a short term try and win it all window with Durant....

I truly believe they will try for another high level established veteran piece to complement KD especially defensively.

Is that Mikal? We know they love the fit of Mikal and now after trading Brooks etc I think Mikal is a perfect fit for their current roster. Houston bc they are going to try and make a perfect roster around KD probably would give us the most for Mikal.

Naw. Its Jabari Smith and 2FRPs that would be routed to Utah for Kessler...

His is preetty good...6-11 strong rebounder, versatile defender who along with Kessler form a perfect front court balace with KAT

OG and Hart for Booker and filler. We’d have to toss in some picks as well. I could see it…
