If Watson is still the one picking we seem very likely to take CMB unless someone does it before us.

It's not easy to peg Murray-Boyles' draft range, with most pointing to the Nos. 10-to-16 range, which includes some of the most analytics-influenced teams in the NBA, Atlanta, Oklahoma City and Memphis. NBA teams say Murray-Boyles rates historically well in their draft models, thanks to his strong passing, foul-drawing ability, 2-point shooting, defensive playmaking and youth, which will appeal to several teams in this range.
Murray-Boyles' toughness, unselfishness, defensive versatility and playmaking give him a high floor, even if his lack of size and perimeter shooting might make him a situational fit in certain lineup configurations.

He looks like a stiff. A stiff with some skills, but I don’t think he’d get them off against NBA length/athleticism.
Second round shot in the dark? Sure, whatever. 9th or even trading out of 9th to take him later. I don’t know about that.

Kon doesn't get me excited that much either (but I am sure he will have a steady career). My top guys I want at 9 are Khaman, Bryant, and maybe even Demin. Would be excited if someone like Tre Johnson or Bailey fall. Also open to trading the pick.

I have a hard time believing we won’t take Kon if he’s on the board at 9, otherwise it’ll be someone like CMB.

If this happens, I hope someone starts a "Fire Masai" thread.
The pick here really should be Coward IMO.

Demin after 6 games:
15.3 points on 59/47/53 shooting
3.8 rebs
6.7 ast : 2.7 to
2.2 stl
I'd love to have seen Coward play against higher competition for a full season. He looks enticing but he is far from a sure bet after 6 games of preseason D1 competition.

Darius Garland played 5 games in his only college season.

Not sure that is an apples to apples comparison.
Garland was a 5-star recruit, a McDonald's All-American, and a consensus top-10 player out of high school. He was drafted as a freshman.
Coward has worked his way from D3 to 2 years in D2 (edit: my bad Eastern Washington isn't D2 but a small D1 in a weaker conference, Big Sky) to 6 games in D1. Coward will be a senior.
