WE STILL HAVE BUZ!!!
Kid is going to be our cornerstone. Hope we get someone to go with him.
I'm still not sold on Matas, and I don't think I will be until his third season. He has shown glimpses, but so had Patrick Williams when he was a rookie.
Don't get me wrong, he has all the potential in the world, but it's that season after season improvement that I need to see before I can see a future where he could be the cornerstone of our franchise.
P-Will has broken the fan base.

I see people disregarding talented draft prospects because they “remind them” of Pat. You are concerned about Matas because Pat once looked good and nothing came of it.
To a much lesser degree I’ve seen it a few times this draft season with WCJ/Sorber comps.
Our prior players have nothing to do with any of these guys and these guys have nothing to do with Pat or WCJ. Use Matas as an example. He’s the anti-Pat. He’s heavy on intensity and passion and more raw on skills. Pat had mentality concerns right off the bat but had skills that translated easily as a 3/D guy his rookie season.
I just don’t think it’s a good idea to ignore (I know you aren’t “ignoring” Matas) a potentially talented player or prospect because of disappointments with a whole other human being, especially when *most* everyone agrees those issues were primarily mental.
